VIVA Singers Toronto proudly presents “Metamorphosis,” a celebration honouring VIVA’s 25th anniversary.

Featuring 4 world premiere adaptations of stories from Ovid’s Metamorphoses for choir, narration and instruments:

  • Turn it to Gold by Andrew Luck

  • Acis and Galatea by Juliet Palmer

  • Phaeton and Apollo by Alex Eddington (youth choir, narrators, recorder, piano, percussion)

  • Echo and Narcissus by Tyler Versluis

AND Rumi Canon by Alex Eddington (for audience and choirs)

This special program features all 7 VIVA choirs, plus a one-time only alumni choir, and guest artists Amiel Ang, percussion, and Tatsuki Shimoda, recorders. Please join us in celebrating VIVA’s 25 years of inclusive music-making for all ages!
